Urine Bag
Urine is collected and briefly stored in a urine collection bag. It is fastened to a catheter, or tube, which is inserted through the urethra and into the urine bag after the patient's bladder is reached. Patients who may have urine incontinence or leakage, dysuria, urinary tract infections, and other conditions utilize these bags before, during, and after specific urological and gynecological surgery.
